friday march 7th

Thought I would kick off with pictures of cake......as normal, a lovely cinnamon spiced  marmalade cake and a  version of  Merry Berry's layered whole lemon cake with lemon cheesecake which was very nice but a squidy nightmare to cut! .....lol
And pictures of an up coming project...can anyone guess what they are x x x x
Betty had knitted some poppies to send off of an appeal......
Hesta brought in some Berties for us to admire.....
 Including this fisherman Bertie..
Everyone was chatting away and catching up...and we had lots of kiddie winkles this week...we may have to get a toy box....it's so lovely having the little ones around...hopefully exposing them to a creative environment....
These little girls Esme and Patience were making pom poms with their mummy.....
Technology helped us sort out some pattern queries....
The 21st century has arrives at The Traveling Woolberries
Carla almost finished her amazing blanket at our session.......
Just half a row left to go as we finished...
Look at the amazing colours and the range of stitches...a real work of art.
It was busy , busy, busy everywhere you looked!
Hesta showed us her latest shawl....
Look at the big button! I love it!
Claire showed us the  knitting needle bracelets she had made .....
Arn't they  fun and a must for any knitter.....

It was a lovely fun atmosphere.....
Our youngest member didn't want to get left out......
And got into the middle of all the fun making us all laugh out loud.......
If you want to come and join us look for the bunting opposite Tesco's.......
