Friday 28th March



 Hello.....we kick off this week with a beautiful shawl knitted by Kristina.....
 We also have a shawl knitted by Carla...the beautiful sparkles do not show up in this picture...it was lovely and sparkly x
 Carla was also  showing us some lovely hand dyed yarn and fimo  buttons and crochet hook
 
that she had made  on a weekend yarn retreat run by Devon Sun Yarns ... a weekend in Lyme Regis full of crafting and yummy cakes xx

 Alison was as busy as a bee......making bees wings.......
 For these cheery fellows...knitted to raise funds for a new community centre in Honiton.
 Hesta was creating crocheted nests ...and beautiful crocheted dreamcatchers.


 Lynnes crochet blanket was growing.....lots of new stiches to learn........
 We had a guest speaker this week.....Nina who showed us her wonderful handmade books and journals.....
 Beautifully crafted and personalized.........
 They were a joy to behold ......


 We spent ages cooing over them...they were very inspiring and we were very interested in her workshops.....

The cakes this week were as yummy as ever.....gooey chocolate brownies....a stunning vicky sponge and a rhubarb and orange cake with homegrown rhubarb from Hesta's allotment.....



 Someone was getting a bit excited about the finale of The walking Dead...lol!
