Friday April 4th

 Hello..well we are starting off with our "secret" project...(yarn bombing the prom railings at Easter....but ssssshhhhhh don't tell anyone)
 Claire is modelling some of the latest contributions x
 Betty showed us her amazing blanket.....
 It is beautifully knitted x
 Here is Carlas neck frou-frou.....a lovely keeping your neck warm device.....
 Or hiding behind!
 Carla also knitted this hat and had started on some hand warmers.....
 Also this shawl in beautiful beaded yarn.......
 She also brought in this beautiful  fragranced blossom.....
 Hesta made this little group of crochted felted nests....she just needs some little blue robins eggs to pop into them.....
 She was also completing this stunning alpaca shawl.....
 We are starting a Traveling Woolberries scrap book.....
 That anyone can take home and add too..recipes..patterns or even just pretty pictures of yarn...also any newspaper clipping of our club are going in there....
 We had these scented daffs....very cheerful x
 The cake table was groaning as usual ......
 With a lovely peach and raspberry slab cake.......... made by Beth and...
 A Lavender and Apple cake decorated with crystalised primroses and violets.....
 Alison was knitted poppies to make into a poppy bunting.....
 To help commemorate the start of the First World War........
 Cath knitted us a lovely little mascot..
 A little be bespectacled teddy.....isn't she a cutie x x x
 Beth was winding.......and winding..........
 A lovely basket of yarn......
 Is there a nicer sight than yarn waiting  to be used to create something new.......
 Claire-Louise was still busy toiling away at her vintage tablecloth........


Lynne was working on a lovely colourful cushion cover.....         
It was so lovely this week and we were all chatting away so much we didn't realize we had over run...no-one wanted to go home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! See you next week x x  and happy crafting x
